It's says it's a hotshoe light, it's coldshoe. It's powered by batteries and not the camera.

I got this unit solely based on it's low price. It does flash as a slave or a manual unit only. It does work with your camera hot shoe but doesn't support through-the-lens TTL function. Unfortunately this was not suitable for my camera requirements so it was returned easily via Amazon.
