Love these knives! Extremely sharp and they take up hardly any space on my countertop. Super easy to wash (just watch out for the edge, obviously). Not planning on machine washing them, but I'm sure they'll hold their edge just fine either way

I doubt you will find a better knife for the price. Before purchasing this set I went through two more expensive name brand sets but the handles started breaking after just a year or so of use on both sets. So I set out to find ones with forged handles/blades and found this set. My least favorite part of the set is the block, its plastic feeling but does its job. I've been using the knives now for about 5/6 months & they work great, I even put them in the dishwasher and no rust or water spots (I do use Jet Dry to make sure water doesn't sit on my dishes). Very sharp, seem sturdy yet light weight.
