These calipers perform beautifully. I love the fact that it remembers where it was. I've had others that would re-zero every time you turned them on. I'm a lefty, so the readout is always on the wrong side, but it's a right handed world. I find the accuracy and repeatability is perfect for my needs.

Needed an upgrade for blueprinting at work and 3d modeling and 3d printing on the side. got tired of using the Harbor Freight ones. We all know how those are.
This caliper is solid. All metal. Comes with 3 batteries (one installed already). Can mess around with it, have it wide open, auto shut off, and come back auto turns on when you adjust it, and will hold it's zero. Rarely need to hit the zero button. It's nice to come up to a better quality caliper tool for measuring for the price.

It's new, new stuff is usually in top condition. Stops at zero for now Digital dont usually do that long always hitting zero reset makes you wonder how accurate you measurement was no? If you reset to stop and its off. REMEASURE until you return with a .0000 reading ( and always clean jaws like you do with a dial caliper which you know when there's debris there.
Smooth action. Lock screw works great. Switching mm to inches to fractions fine. I don't like mm scale at bottom of beam rather it be at top. Major flaw you can't measure with out electronics working. the left vertical edge that aligns with graduations is not vertical! So wont align.
It's on an angle. How stupid can you be? When you try to read the graduations it's not as accurate. And there is a black plastic shim sandwiched between beam and upper plate that sticks out, interferes with reading scale. Why have graduations on the caliper fir Gods sake? They got most of it right if there is something off I'll find it and there always is.
