For me as a mechanical engineer this was a fun little project, Being all metal and a good representation of a engine it's a step up from your normal car or plane model kit.I repainted some of the parts to reflect some of the hot rod engines you see on line. This can also be disassembled easily for someone else to enjoy

This looks very cool to build, but it is in no way a Stirling engine -- it's a model of a 4 cylinder, 4 cycle gas engine that runs via two electric motors powered by a rechargeable battery. You can find a YouTube video of one being assembled on the channel "NDA Hack" titled "How to build Car Engine Assembly Kit - Full Metal 4 Cylinder" if you're curious.
