As a former rope climbing record holder at my military academy I know a thing or two about climbing ropes and what great full body exercise it provides. And I absolutely love this rope! First of all, this rope is made of a natural material that provides a great grip. It is a lot more slip resistant than a rope made of artificial materials which translates in a lot less forearm fatigue. It is also pliable enough to easily wrap your feet around it, which comes in handy when you want to give your forearms a break while resting halfway up a rope. Finally, I really appreciate the looped end. It makes it very easy to fasten the rope on a tree branch, a bridge railing, an arbor or a wall anchor. I never had any doubts about it safely holding my weight.

Tied this to a tree and its ups and downs and swings or hangs. Great for upper and core strengthening. Very sturdy but big con, the rope materials splinters off into small dust type particles that get into your eyes.
