Make sure you take extra batteries for the unit (prefer rechargeable)

I ordered 2 sets of bags, each coming with its own suction unit. The good thing is the bags are sturdy. The suction power for the bags seems weak. I put new batteries in it. The unit is slow and batteries run down quickly. That is why I suggest using rechargeable batteries and only gave it a 3 of 5 rating. I was not able to suction all four bags on 1 set of batteries. One of the units did not work at all. They are cheaply made, but the one that did work was adequate for travel. It did work better than I expected. The plus for the purchase is that the bags are sturdy and do well in packing.

Easy to use. It seems vacuum is cheap (but $ payed also was) so it's to expect. However, it DOES WORK. Will use it for packing an luggage. Recomend it, just keep it easy on vacuum use and handle so it won't get broken.

It is great for travel since it is so small but the diction isn't that great you can get a more compact seal with the manual pumps but it is a lot smaller than the manual ones. If you get the bag pretty small and with not too much air before using it it isn't too bad.

i read reviews on several of these kinds of bags and most said the same thing. The bags are great but the vacuum is useless. Most people just use their home vacuum. With that said and knowing i would have access to a vacuum at each location, i just bought the least expensive option and never even touched the vacuum that came with it. bags are tough, didn't rip, easily vacuumed, tight seal, easy open, i packed clothes plus harder items and the bags didn't puncture.
