The media could not be loaded. I used to own the GiGi wax warmer and used the wax that came with it (I believe it was honey based). I hated how it was so sticky all the time and it was so annoying to deal with that and wax strips. I ended up throwing away the entire system and started booking monthly appointments with the European Wax Centre for all my Brazillian waxes.

Since we are staying home for the meantime, I have not been able to have my usual wax appointment and I was starting to get really irritated with the...ahem...foliage. I started looking online for wax warmers again and noticed the GiGi wax warmer was still one of the highest rated products. It was discouraging because I figured that meant anything with "lesser" ratings would be even worse. But then I stumbled on this product and I just got a really good gut feeling about it.

The product arrived in a nice, neat box very quickly. I purchased a separate silicone bowl to use instead of the metal bowl that was provided so that it would be easy for me to clean up the wax from the bowl once it hardened. The warmer worked fast and the wax beads melted quickly to the perfect temperature. I used the cream white beads that were included in the packet and used the Brazillian waxing technique the specialists at the European Wax Centre used on me and OH MY GOD this thing worked perfectly! I could not believe how every strand of hair was removed! I had originally thought it didn't work because I felt zero pain whatsoever, but I looked at the area and there wasn't a strand of hair left on me!

Unfortunately, I was not able to find refills for the white beads (I haven't run out yet, but I was so thrilled with the results that I wanted to buy refills straight away) and I contacted the customer service email that was provided with the product. They responded very fast and were very helpful, but sadly they do not currently sell the cream white beads as a separate product. I realise there are many other bead options out there, but I hate having to shop around and I was really hoping to just stick to the same product that I liked. Customer service did say they would take my suggestion to make the cream white beads available for purchase into account and, hopefully, such a product will become available soon.

Love this. It's tough to figure out the correct temp without a digital readout. To wax my armpits, I left it between medium and low and it worked well.

I like the wax kit I use the blue wax and it was sticky but it got the job done the machine is everything for a beginner waxer
