Good for the price, I wish the dividers weren't so large so I could control the size of the compartments a little more. I like the plastic bobbins a lot and the stickers are very useful. The spool winders are a little flimsy but do the job fine if you don't go too fast

Perfect for what I wanted -- tons of bobbins and a great place to store them that is flexible for storing other items. If you have a lot of thread, you will probably end up using it all for thread, at least the first one you buy. It holds a lot, maybe 100 skeins if some are already partially used. The numbers I got did not include numbers for variegated DCM thread, however there are blank labels you can write on. So far, the numbers have stayed on well; you can also write the numbers on the plastic bobbins, if you prefer. They take Sharpie and pencil, although the latter can be hard to see. There were a couple of broken bobbins, but no problem, since there are soooo many. A few have rough bits from the stamping, but those can be broken off easily. The only thing you really don't need here is the winders. They are cute, and work well if you follow the instructions at this site, but it is faster and easier to wind by hand, so I eventually stopped using them. I feel like I paid extra for those, so took a star off when I realized I didn't really need them. I feel sure I will buy another box as my thread collection grows, if I can find one just like it without the winders -- really the perfect way to manage all that thread.

I gave this 5 stars because it is exactly what it appeared to be. It is an inexpensive, yet organized way to store your thread. It makes pulling out the correct color much easier than digging through stacks of thread. Is it fancy? no Is it made to last forever? no Does it do exactly what I needed it to do? Yes! I would recommend this product for easy organization. Oh, the included bobbin winders are great too!
