I purchased this in 18" Kinky Straight and Yaki Straight and right out the the pack I loved it. I have worn the Kinky Straight twice and have not washed it yet (will soon). I have worn the Yaki Straight 4-5 times and have washed it 2-3 times. The first time I washed the hair I used some cheap shampoo and conditioner I found in my closet. The hair didn't enjoy that at all. The next time I washed and conditioned the hair I used my usually shampoo/conditioner and it was like brand new. What I can say is there was no shed from the Kinky Straight out of the pack (haven't washed yet to see after wash), but after I wash the Yaki straight the first time I noticed some shed and a little more shed the second time. The hair still looks and feels great, but I've also noticed some stiffness after washing as well. Not terrible though. Overall and after owning for about 5-6 months I'm happy with my purchase. This went with my hair very well but it last me like 2 months and a half or less if taken care well even more buts soft it takes heat and blends in naturally

I purchased 2 sets of the KSTN4 (the ombre brown set) 18 inch Kinky Straight clip-ins. I love these clip-ins so much that I want to buy a set in every color, every length, and every texture! LOL! I have been wearing them now for 4 straight days (of course taking them out at night), and they have not tangled at all! They barely shed! I mean like, 2 strands a day... They are so soft and feel so light-weight on my head. (So far, I wear about a pack and a half at a time.) I've gotten so many compliments on them from my family and coworkers!

I am NEVER buying clip-ins from any other company again. I am a firm believer in that, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I promise if you get these kinky straight clip-ins you will not be disappointed!

2/25/22 UPDATE - I went back and purchased 2 bundles of the Natural Black Yaki Straight clips. And guess what! I absolutely love these as well. They too do not tangle, but they shed a little more than the kinky straight ones that I bought, but nothing to be upset about. Also with them, some of the clips will not cooperate, but the clips are so cheap, that I am just buying a bag of clips and replacing them as I need to. The hair itself is just absolutely amazing, though. As you can see in the pictures, the natural black set is a perfect blend for my hair. I am absolutely loving both types of hairs that I purchased from Sassina! I love them so much that I have not given my hair a break from wearing them. Oh, and I purchased 2 sets of each only because I braid my own hair down (except for minimal leave-out) so having 2 sets gives me that full look that we all desire! Happy girl over here!

Received my hair today, I ordered two packs of the clip ins, one came tied up and in a plastic bag within the box, the second pack came opened and clips were already cut. Thankfully I ordered early and checked in time to return. Will keep you all posted on the return and install.

I am a reviewer. I love to review items to help other potential customers or to help business owners so my reviews are lengthy/detailed.

I am not big on buying extensions of any kind but wanted to try it out and add a little spice for my birthday. Of course a perk of being an amazon user is - amazon prime (came in 2 days). I ordered both a 16" and 18" clip in set per the advise of other reviewers b/c I have thick / voluminous hair. I don't have a blunt cut but layers so I anticipate it blending well since this product is cut in a more layered/ natural style not blunt. I went w/ 16" and 18" for the more natural effect of layered hair.
I have been natural for 7 years but have wore my hair natural "straight" for the last 3 so I went with silky straight instead of the kinky straight since my hair is trained to be straight and lays well when press n curled.

I haven't tried the clip ins yet bc I am waiting to get my hair done in the next week but once I do I will see if blends well. The clips were sturdy but the real test will be once I try them w/my natural hair.

Price, presentation and quality: for the price, you cannot beat the quality of hair. It was extremely soft, no tangling and had no real smell. It appeared to be a nice blend of human hair and probably 25-35% synthetic hair but definitely don't think it's $100% human hair. Plus side is that it doesn't have a shiny "fake" or cheap hair appearance like how many other clip in sets do. In just its packaging w/o being washed or dyed yet it had the appearance of natural hair on a woman that primarily wears her hair straight. The color is a dark brown/ little black blend under light. It would probably require dye if you are jet black. It was nicely packaged like your standard packaging for clip ins but came w/ a nice bonus w/ both orders which was extra clips, wide tooth comb and styling clip.

I will have an update with pictures on how the hair blends with mine once my hair is done. I'm hoping to just keep the hair and not have to return it because of the great price.

Keep in mind for potential customers that most retailers not all but most that place their products on amazon , tend to use a second grade version (lesser quality) than their original quality product to cut cost and stay competitive w/ the other local business or retailers that sell their product on here too so you can't be upset if you don't go on their actual business site to order product which is usually higher and better quality and come here looking for the same quality and do not completely get it. You do get what you pay for but I would say this is a really good deal for all that is listed above.
