You get what you pay for - solid price point for what you get. Stop reading here if that's all you're looking for. So we purchased this as a placeholder for our first bike build from the ground up knowing that we'd likely upgrade in the future but wanted to have something to get the bike together and rolling. Knowing what I know now after two bike builds I struggled to give this 5 stars. Bottom line you get what you pay for - this fork is well built, has remote lock out and has performed as expected. You're not going to get the ability to dial in the performance on this like you would a fox/rock-shox fork but its also 1/5 of the price. I wouldn't trust this to last that long on heavy trail riding but on our toss around street cruiser it's more than competent.

Price is right. Seems better than my original 2001 Manitou Mars Elite fork. That fork wore out recently, and would need a rebuild kit costing $50 plus labor. Better to by a whole new fork. I was worried about the fork travel being 100 mm vs. old fork at 80 mm, but I can't tell any difference. Damping is way better with this fork. I bought the one with lockout feature, nicely made.

WOW, I'm impressed with the value of this fork. It came with a star nut and bottom bearing race.
Haven't ridden the bike yet but can't wait to try it out. Finish is good and feels hefty enough to take a lot of punishment.

If you're looking to replace your heavy, spring forks, you can't go wrong with this.
It looks great and performs well. I don't do any hard-core trail riding (jumps and all) but it does the job for regular trails. It's definitely lighter than my stock fork and it made my starter bike look respectable.
The only minor "issue" that I have is that I can't really take this product seriously if they can't spell "Remote" (see attached pic) correctly. I can't go around showing it off and they see "Remot" lock out. It screams of a product of an inferior quality. It's the same as finding these amazing items on Amazon but their descriptions don't make sense. I immediately look for something else. I know that's nitpicking and a missing letter doesn't do anything to its performance, but you get the point. It needs to perform well and look great doing it.

It's insane this fork isn't more expensive. I bought this for a Frankenstein project I had on a hard tail carbon frame. I took the bike to my local mtb park/downhill park. These forks performed surprisingly well, even on 8-10ft drops. They even gleamed over pretty large table tops. I am impressed
