Got this to take care of my fat cat's Lumps and Clumps. He usually doesn't want me to get rid of them because they are his only friends, but a cat with dreadlocked gluts isn't a good look. The slicker brush wasn't cutting it, so I upgraded to this bad boy. I started with the wide-toothed side initially to get the larger mats on his haunches broken up, then moved to the fine-tooth side to get his smaller stomach clumps, then to maintain his coat. As long as I didn't brush too aggressively, he allowed me to keep my dignity and my fingers. Did a great job, and was a ton cheaper than taking him to the groomers to get shaven like I had to last year... and ticked him off at me for a solid 3 weeks lol

The media could not be loaded. As soon as we got it, I had to try it out. For reference, my dogs are both males. The 100 lb heeler collie mix( we think mastiff as well) has a lot of thick fur. His under coat sheds so much. He has created so many fur babies such as Jennifer and christofur. This helped him shed his coat and get all the excess fur off him. As you can see, his a big boy. He loved it. He rolled around as I was brushing him. Balancing a large dog and keeping him from rolling on the shredded fur was tough, but we did it. This has been the only one, that worked. We bought so many. They work great on my other dog, Aussie shepherd mix. It's very sturdy.
