I purchased this to sit on my glass side table that does not have drawers. It holds pens, pencils, highlighter, etc. The back of the box had a pattern ( like maybe it was sitting on a grated shelf when sprayed). The "over-spray" pattern is partial and diagonal so obviously NOT intentional. The company reached out to me immediately to correct the problem. It is really pretty
