This came ready to run out of the box. Machined to factory spec at a fraction of the factory price. Also it's cheaper to just buy this instead of sending your head to a machine shop. This was put onto a 2004 TTR250

Head and all assy items appear top-quality, but the cam cover from my head is VERY different than for this head. The bearing is a quality SEALED ball-bearing, unlike the plain aluminum "bearing" that comes from Yamaha. Lots of nice upgrades to this assembly.
I could order a new cam cover, of course, but I ended up getting my head machined to fix the knackered surface so I could keep all the same components.
