These lights are super bright, installed four on aircraft hangar. Instructions show only one ballast with two quick connects so you can install the light in two halves. Mine came with two ballast (four wires) & no quick connects. I cut the four wires, tinned them & installed quick connects so I could handle the intsallation easier on a 12' step ladder. You could play tennis at night in front on our building.

Installed these at a property in Los Angeles. Not too rough a neighborhood, but for most people in suburbs etc. I'd say it is rough. The place is like a football stadium. Some tenants complained the light is too bright. I explained that this was a "security light" and was there for their safety. I also used this brand in a backyard and a retail shopping center. I would say they suited the shopping center best. Make sure to order with a dusk til dawn sensor if you're going to need one.
Minus 1 star since it could potentially be overkill for smaller properties and areas and description for dusk til dawn sensor included versus not included could be more clear.

Loved the fixture! However mounting was a little cumbersome as the LED light panel wiring doesn't separate so you can mount the fixture without the lens hanging. A little bit awkward until you got the first screw started.

The light is just what I was looking for. I gave it 5 stars for brightness. I gave it 3 stars for ease of installation. This was because the light was suppose to be able to be taken apart for ease of installation, 2 pieces, one piece is the backing plate that allows it to be mounted to the wall and the second piece is the lens and the light portion. This latter portion attaches to the backing plate on one side via two hinge pins and on the other side with two screws. The instructions stated that there was a quick disconnect of the wiring that allowed you to sit the lamp portion of the fixture aside while you mount the backing plate. It wasn't there. So it was a wrestling match trying to balance the swung open light portion while mounting the backing plate. Not impossible but a real pain in the butt to do while standing on a ladder. I gave it 4 stars for value for the money. The lens is plastic not glass. I'm afraid in time the plastic will become cloudy and reduce the brightness.

There's nothing really complicated about the installation, it's just that the instruction sheet and the instructions printed on the box don't match the hardware inside ! The worst part is that you are supposed to have quick disconnects on the wiring from the backplate to the cover. There aren't any, so you need to install the backplate to the wall and wire it up with the cover either placed on a nearby support or held by a second person or leave it dangling by it's wires ... not desirable. The last one I installed matched the instructions and had the wiring disconnects.
It looks like a great design and the first one's working well after about a year.
