Sturdy bike wall mount

Very sturdy. As advertised. Easy to mount. The key to a wall mount bike rack is the square telescoping shaft. I ordered a different one that looked sturdy but it had a round telescoping shaft. That product was a failure and it was returned. This one is great. I would recommend this one.

The product works as advertised. It's very intuitive. Mounting on the wall is easy. The kit comes with wall anchors, but I used my own because I wanted to make sure the anchors were strong enough to hold the weight. If you can mount into the studs, that would be better.
You need a hex allen wrench to tighten the bolts on the rack. I don't know if I have a poor quality wrench or if the bolts are poor quality. That's where the problem occurred. It was tough to tighten the bolts and, in one instance, I stripped the bolt.

Because of space limitations, we needed to mount our bike side ways (see pic). This mount was perfect for this application because of the way the little red hooks are designed. They fit this bike's rims perfectly. In pic, unit is mounted directly to stud using 2 inch decking screws. We use a small bungee cord routed through the front wheel and around the bottle cage to keep the front wheel straight when lifting it up to hang it. No problems. Very happy with this wall hanger.
