In my opinion,, there is simply no competition to compare to these cables. First, they are made in America; the quality reflects the excellence expected from such a great nation. The flexibility is terrific, yet the outer protective covering has tremendous integrity, offering the impression that it will endure and keep the copper protected. The clamps are amazing! They are strong, beautiful copper teeth, and finally, a manufacturer exemplifies brilliance by taking advantage of the greatest contact patch available through the distribution strip that allows power to travel through both sides of the clamp. In the end, this is basic logic as we buy such cables to transfer energy and not restrict it at some bottleneck point. I am so happy I chose to pay for this amazing tool and not cut corners. Just for fun, I connected them to a Kubota L39 4 cylinder diesel TLB with a battery that read a hair over 2 volts. I connected it with these cables to a loose (carried it by hand-no alternator supporting increased current or amperage). The preheater light went right out quickly and it spun to life immediately. Very impressive at 23 degrees Fahrenheit, and after having sat for approximately three weeks since last jumped.

These jumper cables are superior to anything that I have ever purchase before. They are very well made. When it comes to quality, you can't go wrong. Buy Spartan!!!

Needed a second set of jumper cables, and went looking for something better than the cheap, flimsy cables you typically find locally. These are well-made, having both alligator jaws connected to real copper braid, and a solid connection to the copper wires.

Unlike most jumper cables, these are two physically separate cables, one red, one black. That allows for more flexibility in running the cables, and less chance of an accidental "crossing of the streams" (which usually lets the magic smoke out).

NOTE: I have not yet had occasion to use these (knock on wood), but I see no reason to doubt their effectiveness.

Won't let you down. Good quality and life time using

I ordered one set of these cables and after seeing their impressive quality, I order a second set. The 2 AWG pure copper cables that I received are probably "overkill" for most applications, but better to be over than under. I measured each cable and they are a little longer than the advertised length. The clamps are very good, with the handles being totally insolated and a copper braided lead feeds over to the other side of the clamp that doesn't connect to the 2 AWG cable, so that both sides of the clamp are carrying current to whatever you are clamped onto. If you damage the clamps, you could easily replace them because they are bolted onto the cable and the jaws (teeth) of the clamps could also be replaced (if needed) the same way. These cables came with a nice "backpack" type bag to keep them in, which is just like some sports backpacks I have seen used, they have a drawstring on each side, so you can pull them to close the bag and put on your back like a traditional backpack. Keep in mind that I only bought the 10ft length, so only two cables are in my bag, I don't know if they give a bigger bag for people that buy longer lengths, but my cables fit perfectly in my bag, I would think that longer lengths would get tight in the bag I have, unless they have a bigger bad. I looked at a lot of cables and even building my own, but these are better than anything else I looked at.
