Decided this was the year I would be prepared. We don't get a lot of snow and ice in the PNW but when we do we are inexperienced in dealing with it. Had this ready when we had first snowfall last week and I couldn't believe how much easier getting in and out of the house was with so little effort/cost. After a surprise overnight snowfall I shoveled and spread the ice melt liberally on all concrete walking surfaces in front and back. They stayed clear while more snow fell and we had no ice forming. I did go back out 14 hours later and re spread as more snow was predicted. Performed well! Much safer for us, delivery people, and even my tripod dog was grateful for easy stepping. Have already reordered to keep my supply on hand.
