This worked for my Alesis Command right out of the box.

I did not know if it would work for my application or not. I have the Alesis Command module. I assume it works using a variable resistor, and I anticipated having to modify it to get it to work within the parameters required by the Command module. I measured the resistance on the Alesis Hi-Hat foot control and compared it with the resistance range I got with the Goedrum GHC-AN Electronic Hi-Hat Controller and they were similar but not exact (the Alesis completely disconnects on a hard close, the Goedrum still has a slight resistance when it's completely depressed), so I connected it to my Command Module to try it out, and it worked perfectly. I thought I might have to adjust the trigger settings, but no, it just worked like it was made for this module. That was a pleasant surprise. No two resistors are the same, so your results may vary. Good luck!
Works with My Alesis Command Module

Use with my PDP high hat stand. Sounds good through my in ear monitors (IEM).
Turn your Alesis Strike Pro into a 5-Star Kit

Received the product within 2 weeks of purchase. The difference is night and day for the Alesis Strike Pro. Amazing response. Couldn't be any happier with the purchase. Highly recommend getting this for your Alesis Strike Pro. Absolutely worth it.
Works great for my setup

I'm using this with an Alesis Crimson II kit, a DW5000 hihat stand, and Superior Drummer 2 via USB to a computer.
I had to add a few extra felts under the hihat clutch to stop both the clutch and hihat pad from bumping the sides of the controller and preventing it from closing all the way. Aside from that, it fits fine and was easy to set up... literally just had to plug it in.
In terms of functionality, it's not great when using the Crimson II module alone. I feel it is a sidegrade to the crappy stock pedal controller that comes with the kit rather than an upgrade so possibly not worth the purchase if you only intend to use this module alone. Running through Superior Drummer however, it is a clear upgrade over the stock pedal and behaves much more realistically.
I'm happy with my purchase!

Works Better Than Alesis

I got this initially for my Alesis DM10 kit and migrated to the Strike Kit. It works much better than than any other setup I've tried. I am still using it and plan to continue using it for a long time to come. I used my hi-hat from my acoustic kit with no issues. Spend some time dialing it in and it will time well spent.
