Loved this dress. It fit very well. My only complaint was the line across the bottom of the dress (in which I did read about it before purchasing) but no one noticed. I received many compliments. I recommend buying. I wore it for my baby sis 40th bday party with a purple/gold theme and glitter sneakers

I liked most everything about the dress and received several compliments. I did have to take in the top some on the side that went under my armpit. It was too loose right there. Everything else about it fit great. I usually wear a size 14 or 16 so I went with the XL if that helps anyone. I am 5'7 and weigh 225.

The dress is an excellent value. Couldn't even tell it was an Amazon buy. Not much give so make sure you get the correct size. I wear a size 12 and am 5'8". The medium was little snug but love the way it shows off my curves.no girdle worn. Don't think a large would have given the same look. Received many many compliments!

I needed a dress for a formal I was attending. After looking in the stores and not finding anything that met my needs (comfort, flattering, reasonable and not needing to be altered for the most part), I decided to give Amazon a try at finding a dress for myself. I ordered the pink, black and purple in my size and decided to see which I liked the best. I was hoping to avoid the black only because I wanted a bit of color. The pink was my ideal choice, but the one they sent had a horrible poorly sewn seam so I returned it for another pink. This one also had a poorly sewn seam! That left me with the purple and black to choose from. Both are beautiful - very rich and not cheap-looking. Like anything black, it hides any body imperfections. With that said, I am quite amazed at the quality of the dress! it wasn't shabby. Best yet, it can be hand washed AND it's so comfortable! It hugs you just right, yet allows you to breathe. BTW, I'm about 5'6" and wore 2 1/2 inch shoes. No need to alter the length. You could actually get away with a lower heel as well - perhaps even almost a flat if you want the dress to come right to the floor.
