Years ago for extended travel I purchased a Wahl clipper since I otherwise cut my hair every two weeks. It was awful, mostly because it was so loud and the vibration was unpleasant after holding it for even a minute. I just assumed that's how all of them were and I gave up the idea of cutting my hair on my own. When the pandemic hit, I needed to find a way to get my hair cut so I purchased this one, figuring it might be a short term solution. Honestly, given the low price, I was not expecting it to last more than several months.
Well, fast forward a year and I love it. You don't have to charge it often - I think a full charge is about 100 minutes. Also, it's very quiet and minimal vibration. I didn't bother with purchasing any razor lubricant. Before each use, I just use a paper towel and a little vegetable oil on the blade and I always get a close, smooth cut and without any irritation. I don't use a guard and I use it on the closest setting to give you an idea. But it works beautifully and without issue and I've probably given myself close to 30 cuts now. I just can't recommend this highly enough.

These are good. I like the battery gauge. They're also sharp and cut my thick hair easily. I like the ability to adjust the depth. Could use some graduated side cutter attachments but still good.

I've had corded hair clippers for about 30 years. It finally gave up the ghost. I liked the idea of the ease of cordless but was a bit afraid it'd need to be plugging it in regularly, which meant it was out and charging when I wasn't even using it. Ugly. But it has not had to be charged since I bought it a year ago! I only used once every 2 months or so. It is quiet, and glides through the hair like buttah! I could not be happier with this purchase!
