Adding this to a Depends significantly increases the total amount of liquid that can be absorbed, greatly reducing spillovers. My wheelchair bound elderly mother's pants stay nice and dry now when I take her out to a theater or doctor appointment. I really like how the liquid can pass directly through this pad to the Depends so you get full benefit of the absorption they both offer.
