These highlighters are great. I was a little nervous about getting purple highlighters at first because I thought it might be too dark of a color. But I am so happy to say that I was wrong! The purple is dark enough that you can see it, but still light enough that you can read the words that you've highlighted. And purple is so fun! 10/10. Would recommend.

One reviewer said the color was too light. It is lighter than other markers like the Sharpie. This has turned out to be an advantage for me. If one is highlighting text on a page of high-quality paper that is hard and glossy, the name brands put too much ink on the paper and at the end of the highlighting stroke they will leave an excess quantity of ink that smears easily. Not a problem with these markers. Also, if the paper is thin, or cheap and very absorbent (like newsprint paper in some magazines) the name brand markers bleed through. That is much less of an issue with these markers. These markers work for me, at least, so far.
