Great product, but WARNING!!!

I absolutely love this griddle. But to anybody looking to buy you should know that it's 120v, but 30 amp, and youll have to hardwire it yourself. Meaning you can't use a regular 120v outlet. I had to tie into my 240v stove and just use 1 hot wire to not blow fuses. If you don't have the knowledge or know somebody willing to wire it for you, do not buy. If you have the means to wire it up I highly recommend.
Works well, diff than advertised but ok. French toast.

It's good. One complaint is that it is not sealed tightly against the edges. So in the initial cleaning off of [motor oil?], the hot soap water bubbled up from under the griddle top all around the edges. Not enough experience with griddles to know what's normal but it bugs me to think what that means for food grease.

And the parallels it draws for my mortality. Ew.

It heats well, stronger in the center pancake lanes than either edge lane (not as advertised) but I like having cooler spots to move food to.

Also fun to mundanely entertain myself by starting 4 French toasts on the outside two lanes and move to do the the middle 4 last so they'll be done nearly together. Optimizing breakfast, ammirite?

Don't plan to keep a section free of a single food contaminant like an allergen. It won't work. I doubt I'll believe a restaurant who says they do this after trying to myself. Just buy a sectioned one. Griddle, obviously, not restaurant. I mean seriously, segregation is against the law.

Mildly related PSA to provoke equality thoughts: Don't segregate the allergy kids at lunch, no matter how tempting that step backwards is.

BACK TO BUSINESS it works best under a stovetop hood or your house will smell even with light use if you eat meat. It's very effective with sausage. Fastest pound of sausage ever. I'm allergic to sausage.

It's heavy (60 lbs.) so have someone able to lift it back and forth or plan to replace your stovetop cooking with it.
If you are vegetarian or don't cook with much oil you could get by without using the hood range. Fwiw I forgot to turn the fan on with meat substitute burgers the other day and didn't notice a house smell. Used oil for grilled onions, butter substitute for grilled buns.
Last things, my teenage kids like to cook on it and it's very easy to clean. That feels like it should have been the title. #regretsyoufeelbutdontchange #ryfbdc
Ignore online temperature recommendations. They're all over the board including some that say this griddle can't get hot enough for French toast, haha, laughing now, worrying then.
Who cooks French toast at 450? Maybe their griddles are just old. Not bringing the heat. You'll figure out quickly on your own whereish it needs to be for what and that it doesn't need to be perfect to feed your crew.
Recipe for best French toast ever below:

12 eggs, cracked into bowl
capful of almond emulsion
Capful of butter emulsion (1 t.?)
Cap of vanilla (don't ask)
Kosher Salt to preference (sprinkle lightly to cover egg surface)
Cinnamon - get a Costco sized thing and pound the bottom of the sucker to cover the surface. (1/4 c?)
Almond milk. Do you really measure this? Stop it. Pour it in until it looks like French toast batter. If you're allergic to nuts don't do that.

Use Texas toast or Dave's killer bread or whatever you like.

You can Keep adding cinnamon as the bread removes it or do some without. You can do a little mace if your family likes it. Tastes like old fashioned donuts.

Dairy free. Still tastes buttery. You can substitute all the emulsions and vanilla for princess emulsion if you can find it. Try a food and restaurant supply store. Gigis in Utah has it.

Great with cooked cinnamon &sugar peeled apples or boring Maple syrup like my kids prefer.

Lasts in the fridge for a couple of days depending on how many teens you have around.

Tip: use the bag the bread came in for the extra French toast.
It’s not hard to attach a plug or wire it up if you know what you’re doing.

But if you don't know, then either don't buy this or call an electrician.

I haven't cooked on it yet so this review is only about setup. I'll try to remember to update it when I've cooked on it.

Every person who is complaining about no plug must not have read the product description nor the Q&A. Every person blowing breakers or setting stuff on fire doesn't understand electricity and is trying to do something stupid and dangerous.

This unit does not come with a plug because it's not a standard, underpowered, consumer-grade griddle that you can plug into a household outlet. No, it does not matter that the description says 110v and you know your outlets are 110v. You see, this is where understanding electricity comes in. See there in the description where it says 3,000 watts? Yeah this puppy draws a lot of juice, and no, plugging it into a 220v outlet is NOT the answer. It says right on the tin it is a 110v appliance! So how much juice? Well 3,000 watts / 110 volts = 27.3 amps. If you plug this into a household outlet, which is 15 amps, or possibly 20, then you are going to have problems, up to and including needing to build a new house upon the smoking ruins of your old house.

So why would you buy this? Well, because 15amp griddles SUCK. They don't get hot enough. You want an electric griddle that cooks like gas? This is what you need. However you need to be able to power it. You'll need an electrician to put in a 30-amp circuit if you don't have one.

Many people will have this wired directly to a power source with no plug. Me? I'm using mine for camping. My coach doesn't use propane, and electric campsites typically have a spare 30amp outlet available since my coach uses the 50amp outlet. So I bought a standard RV 30amp plug and connected it to this griddle. Easy peasy. Pictures for reference. This, along with a 75-ft 30amp extension cord, means I never need to worry about propane for my camp griddle again.

PLEASE, if you don't understand amps, watts, volts, hot, neutral, and ground then do not do what I have done. Call an electrician.

**Update 11 June 2023: This thing is GREAT. Low and slow for bacon or piping hot for searing steaks. It does it all. I'm using the heck out of it. It takes a little longer to heat up than a gas griddle, but that's to be expected I suppose. My two minor complaints are 1) the knobs are installed upside down. It's really stupid and annoying, and 2) the knobs are marked in Celsius, even though this is sold in the US so I'm always having to look up the temperature conversion.
Works as described

This thing is a must have for at home outdoor kitchen. I had a stainless top made to cover it from local sheet metal shop the top cost just as much as the whole flat too but is well worth it. Love it
Love this little guy!

As a professional chef this has been one of my favorite purchases for at home cooking.
The box can in pretty messed up but it was packed in some heavy duty styrofoam so it wasn't an issue.
It runs on 110 so that keeps things easy.
If you've never used a flat top it's important to know the cooking surface will change color with heat.
After pulling from box and washing any excess machine oil from the unit I put it to full throttle for about half an hour. IT GETS HOT!!!!
Most cooking you'll do on this won't exceed 150C so just be aware.
Easy to clean and a great size for a small to medium sized kitchen.
