Nothing fancy here, but sturdy leather and well put together. Unfortunately the sizing leaves a lot to be desired. It's about an inch too long for a diatonic, so your harp is going to do a lot of sliding around. The pocket also needs to be a little deeper. It will snap shut with a Lee Oskar Major Diatonic, but if you have a chunkier harp like the Seydel Low Tone you'll want to find a different case because this one won't snap shut.

Using this carrier has improved my playing simply because I always have a harmonica with me to fill in those empty spaces in the day with a little practice. And because of the design of this particular carrier, it's easier to draw and stow the instrument than with any other mode I've found. It's also sturdy enough to reasonably protect the harp in typical portage situations. (I have a box full of flattened and broken harps to show for past careless carrying.) This Hide & Drink case has become a necessary accessory for me.

I really like the leather, the color, and the clasp. The downfall is how large it is - with a diatonic harmonica, there will still be approximately two inches of space. This item is better suited for a large pocket knife.
