When I opened it up, I wasn't quite sure how I accessed the spots to insert the batteries. I quickly discovered that the holes had inserts that you need to remove. I feel like these could be useful as I don't need to have empty spots which would annoy me. I am able to keep the inserts in the unused spots, keeping a nice looking aesthetic. The best way to locate/remove inserts that may be camouflaged is to push down a spot to locate the hole and pull out the insert. All of the batteries fit snuggly and aren't loose. I plan on keeping the foam inserts so I can put them back in if there isn't a battery in that spot.
The main reason why I purchased this item was due to the size of the pockets. I'm able to store larger batteries in the pockets and zip up the case without any difficulty. The picture referencing the pocket has an average 12 fl oz soda can for scale. I was able to easily zip the pocket and zip the case. You could probably fit a 4 battery charger, cable, and power wall charger in a pocket if you want to.

Pretty cool way to organize your batteries if you're always losing them like me. I buy double and triple a batteries a lot and yet can never find them when I need one. So I picked up this case. It comes with a tester which is cool, works well. I have another tester just like it I've had for years. The case holds a lot of batteries but I think it holds too many triple a batteries and not enough c and d personally. It holds a ridiculous amount of batteries. Including the disc shaped batteries. I have no idea id the case is water or explosion proof and I hope I never have to find out either of those things personally. It gets pretty heavy when you do fill it up. Plus it's case shapes make it easier to take place to place if you have a need to carry your batteries. I will say this, most people Lee batteries in a drawer. This case is too tall for the standard cabinet drawer, something to consider
