WOW! I just recieved these stickers and they are awesome! They are not your normal vinyl stickers, they are thick. This company makes so much more, I am simply amazed at the product choices. I have not placed it on my son's hockey helmet yet, so I don't know how well it sticks.

These numbers are thick and heavy duty. We used them on a team's softball helmets a couple of months ago and they are standing the test of time. They've been wet, and cold and hot with no peeling on the edges etc. The package comes with plenty of numbers for a team and then some. There is a small window of opportunity for repositioning if you have "stuck" half the number or less on. If you have to take the whole number off, you'll be using a new number...this just speaks to the effectiveness of the adhesive.
