Cleaned Mildew out of Car Carpet
Saved✓ Verified Purchase•September 24, 2023
A drink was spilled in the carpet in the back seat floor of 2009 Chevy Malibu. I didn't know it had been spilled until a few days later, when I started to smell mildew in the car.
I tried regular carpet cleaner, and also 2 carpet cleaners from the super market that were designed to kill viruses etc, and neither fixed the issue. Inevitably after a few days I would start to get the mildew smell back.
Lemocide finally killed the mildew in the first spray application. Did not discolor or bleach the gray carpet.
I think the bottle said something about 1/8 dilution per gallon? I may have used 1/4 dilution per gallon. Really happy with the product. The lemon smell isn't strong to me.

We were never quite sure if this worked. I know it's not supposed to get rid of the mildew stains but it also never got rid of the mildew smell and we used it a lot on a 100-year-old house we were renting. We did floors, walls ,ceilings and never got rid of the smell. We did it twice.
Works pretty well

This was not the miracle product I was hoping it to be, however it did do a better job than other products we have tried. We live in Hawaii and our eaves on the house, especially on the shadier side get a lot of mold and mildew on them. They are roughly 20 feet in the air, so I use a pressure washer to spray them. This product has a good mix ratio that works in the product mix tank on my washer. Once I got the mixture rate set, I just poor it in the tank and let the washer do the work. It worked well, cleaning off all the existing mold/mildew and it looked great. Unfortunately there does not seem to be a "lasting residual" effect and the mold/mildew grew back.
An affordable great product!

The instructions are very easy to understand and easy to mix. The lemon scent is present but not overpowering and surprisingly clears up my sinuses. I paired this mix with a water damaged mattress (It was just surface damage and not deep soaked) but enough to leave stains on my bed so I loaded this mix into a steam cleaner after a very light scrub on the portions of the mattress. (Scrubbed the mattress with hot soap before using the solution, then scrubbed with the solution.) And the smell was gone. After which I performed a deep clean on the sides and bottom of the mattress with the solution in my steam cleaner. It should be noted that you should take extreme care when mixing any solution in a steam cleaner as it may be flammable therefore, it should also be noted to mix less chemical than water and to be more than careful and wear the appropriate mask for such a task so as not to inhale fumes from the steamer.
Now, onto the rest. After deep cleaning using a more diluted version of the solution, the smell of mold and or mildew was completely eliminated, and I followed this treatment up with an hour of UV light on the bottom of the bed each day since having the product. Needless to say our bed was saved.

Mold and mildew on drywall

The apartment above ours, toilet was leaking and dripping on the drywall that was above our bathroom. Of course being that it was the toilet, I wanted to make sure that there was no sign of any germs or mold in the roof. I removed most of the saturated drywall and replaced but was left with areas that began growing mold and needed to take care of it. I needed a product that was going to kill the mold on the drywall as well as disinfect the area since it was a toilet leak. I uploaded pictures of before treatment and after treatment. The white powdery looking substance I am assuming is the mold. The black looking stain I will just spray with Clorox later and it should just bleach it away. But if you look at the white mold, it definitely went away. I treated it again for a second time. Looking better each time so I will probably do it a fourth time for safe measure. The product works and doesn't have a harsh smell. I haven't finished yet but so far so good.
