This seems to do the trick. I was using the one by big sexy hair and I loved it but my scalp was getting seriously dry. I realized the ingredients included alcohol so I made the switch to this. It has a pleasant scent and doesn't make my hair heavy or greasy. I blew dry my hair and it seemed not to get any damage so I believe this is working. When I curled my hair with this, my hair did seem to get pretty dry so I'll keep an eye out on it. I may need to use more or find a different product if it continues not to protect my hair in heat styling.
