We absolutely love this countertop transformation! This was wide enough to make for easy installation. Sticky enough to stay in place but move as needed. Lastly, no bubbles like the thinner, contact paper style countertop refinishing rolls.
Pretty when installed smoothly but that is not so easy to do depending on the countertop shape.

I would suggest this if you have an island, or a countertop like in the pic with no built in backsplash. We have the built in backsplash and a sink and this was quite difficult to do. I don't blame the product, it is what it is but do consider taking the sink out if you have to go around a sink. The online videos show you can just cut out the sink space but getting that perfect is very very hard to do. Just going over the sink hole, cutting it large and putting the sink back would have been much smarter. The backsplash was our big issue. It really never got smooth, even after using a hair dryer, though that did help a lot. But it is serving its purpose which is to give me an idea of if I like black for the counters before I buy expensive countertop. It took us 3 hrs to do 12 ft of countertop, one 2 ft section and the other a 10 ft length with the dreaded sink.
We are experienced DIYers, having built our own home from the ground up... putting in a cheap countertop from the home store would have been much easier ;)

Very durable, better than others I have purchased in the past. These are difficult to install unless you are a profession"¦expect mess ups! The great part is it is so easy to remove, doesn't leave any residue in the meantime, and maintains its stickiness! You can redo as many times as you need until it's perfect. Use a hairdryer around the edges for smooth transition.

In love with how it came out! We priced out replacing our ugly laminate counter tops, with better looking laminate counter tops, and I was not prepared to pay for it yet. So I researched and looked for other options that were a fraction of the cost. And this stuff knocked it out of the park!
It takes time and patience. We practiced on smaller counters first, so if we messed up, we didn't waste a bunch.
