It was great until I dropped it in a river. By then it wasn't worth another $50. I loved it when it worked... honeslty I'll probably buy it again when it makes sense to throw away a convenient bit of money.

I wanted something to keep all of my keys ordily and not clank around, or stab my leg in my pocket. I went with this one because it has the built in tile to track it.
But the battery dies entirely to quickly, I should have just gotten the original without tile, because I never remember to charge this thing, and nothing I have uses the micro USB charging cable anymore, everything is on to the USB type c now, so I don't k ow where my charging cable is.

It took me a minute to figure out how to set up my keys but I have enjoyed it since I have gotten it. The light isn't very bright but just enough to help you out if your key is on that side and it's chime isn't all that loud maybe just enough if you are in 10 feet or so.
The best and most concerning feature is the Tile tracking. Tile has to be on in the background and actively tracking your location for this device to work the best. So if you have an apple device be prepared for those warning messages about how this device tracked your location like 200+ sometimes in a week. However if you lose/misplace you keys lot this might out way those privacy concerns.
You can use it without tile always up but it's diminished returns, however if you report it as lost in the Tile app their system can flag it for other tile members so they can passively help you find it provided it was charged when you lost it.
Additionally you can also get the key smart recover ID tag as a manual back which it what I have also done. It's a metal tag with a laser etched/painted QRC code and instructions on it.

This is the best key chain everrrr. Definitely worth the money. Five stars!!! Very easy to use. Small and compact but can hold lots of keys at once. Great connection so far. Loud enough but not tooo loud
