Good quality
Excellent price performance ratio, but asterisks for color and brightness

For the price, the overall performance can't be beat.

When calibrated/adjusted for best picture, brightness is less than claimed, but still bright.

Color saturation and gamut could be better, but that is what you get with an RGBY color wheel, despite laser light source. It's not at all bad, but you can get better performance for less money with an RGBRGB color wheel, albeit with a significant sacrifice of brightness.

Whites are very good, black level is decent, and of course DLP does motion better than any other consumer display technology.

3D capability is a bonus.

Happily illuminates a 1.0 gain, 180 inch matte white screen in darkness.

Bottom line is, at this level of light output with a laser light source, I don't know that you can do any better at this price.
Perfect for large venue. Bright enough to run with lights on.

I have a large venue that I play music videos on the wall. The projector is about 20-30ft away from the wall and the picture looks fantastic. Videos can be seen clearly even with the white lights on. Super easy set up, basically just plug it in and turn it on. no complaints.
Futuristic case and absolutely Fantastic Image - but i returned it!

In my opinion, this projector is a highest-quality image for a commercial use under $1000. Its slick, modern case is nice it has zero features really - it only looks nice and creates a fantastic image, so something like this needs to be hung up high out of the way in a big space.

For me, this was not ideal for a home, IMO it's too commercial a product-ideal as slave projector in a small sports bar or an outside theater.

Alas I had to return it... I went with the tiny, feature-rich XGIMI. But still, the image this thing makes you swoon! One day I hope to afford a tiny feature-rich projector that looks as amazing.
This is a 1080p. If you want very high res get 4k

At first, and this is day 2 so not a long term review, I didn't like the red shift and overly colorful saturation. In the settings I changed it image to cinema and took the color down to -5. That made it very nice and seemed to be true to life in my estimation. There was no manual. I downloaded one so that was good. I'm comparing this to a WiMius p20. I got the pep for a sixed of the cost of this projector. My son bought the p20 as well. Both had different issues and this is definitely a huge step up and being laser light source hopefully it will last at least a couple million years. Yes, hyperbole. Thanks for reading.
