When I opened the bag, I thought I had purchase a toy. I was wrong. When I plugged it into my smartphone, it worked nicely. The microphone picks up clear and strong sound. I am happy with it. The only problem is the tripod. It is very fragile and I struggled to keep it straight. Besides that, I think I made a good choice buying this microphone.

I'm not getting the absolute best sounds with this mic that I'm using it for but I'd probably need something more elaborate and expensive for that. But it is definitely more than good enough. What I do love about it is that it cancels out all background noise and that's the most important part for what I need this for. Set-up couldn't be simpler.

I have used this product quite a bit since receiving it. It does precisely what I need it to but I wish I had a bit more depth in the sound. With the 0dB setting I can get a decent recording but it requires you to be, pretty much, on top of the mic. The +20 gathers much more sound but requires a lot of adjustment in post. I cannot complain too much however because the rest of the setup has been wonderful. I feared the tripod and camera mount would lack quality but I got much more than I paid for. I would recommend this as a starter set for anyone wanting to test the waters of vlogging or needing some added mic power for your phone.
