It's hard to dock but it does dock. So I just take it out of the case to dock my switch.

Like the case but does not dock

I was skeptical about buying this for my Switch when I saw other people claiming it is hard to snap into the dock with it on. I watched Youtube videos about this before my purchase. I have no issue getting this in or out of the dock. Sure the Switch slides in a bit easier without it on but I still have no issue and neither does my 8 year old son. The only issue I get is I put the system in a bit off centered sometimes and it doesn't meet the charge port. But that can happen without a case. When taking thew system on and off the dock with this case it just feels a bit more snug. As far as the case itself well......
Pros:
-Looks frikkin awesome
-Feels great (better than holding just the switch)
-Joycons slide in and out of the case without removal of the case
-Solid build and high quality

Cons:
- It blocks the kickstand (which is a piece of crap anyway)

All in all its great. You can buy a more reliable kickstand for it and just dock the system with this case on it. Amazon Basics has a good one. I also recommend the Mumba Pro carrying case for this. It fits in great with the case on it as well as games, a kickstand and a charger.

Great case. Have been using for about a few weeks now. Stumbled upon this after a bit of research on some reviews from a few different websites.

It makes holding your Switch a lot more comfortable with the side grips for extended play time (mainly if you have ginormous hulk hands such as myself). Also, playing in handheld mode over a certain period of time adds pressure onto the Joy-Con's grooves possibly causing it to lose connection while attached (which is what happened to my first set of Joy-Cons), so that's the secondary reason for me looking into grip cases. I also bought this because of the fact that it can be docked without having to remove the case, which is great because I frequently switch back and forth between handheld and docked mode.

The only downside to that is that while it does fit, you have to use a little bit of force to make sure it connects to the docking port. Otherwise, the Switch may be in there but not fully connected which may cause an interruption or disconnection from docked/TV mode during gameplay (definitely not good during a Smash Bros session). That being said, it's still functional but having to force the switch in the dock may not be good for the docking device in the long run.

Other than that minor gripe, I couldn't be more satisfied. Highly recommend for my fellow hulk handed gamers.
