this was a second bow for my girlfriend. her first being a crappy plastic one to see if she was interested in perusing archery. i have shot traditional archery for 20 years and this bow is awesome. i end up using it more then most of my own bows.at 45lb its a dream. no hand shock nice string and is very accurate once you get used to shooting with no rest. i would recommend getting a thumb ring for the true feel and fun of this bow.

This short bow is so much fun to shoot. I've shot over 500 arrows with it. My 35lb bow shoots 355 grain arrows good from about 25 yards & in. I just ordered some shorter/lighter arrows that will probably fly even better. There's a little bit of wear where the arrow rests, as expected. The string is still holding up good with almost no wear.
I highly recommend this bow to anyone that wants to try thumb release, shooting ambidextrious, shooting while running, shooting off of horse back, or speed shooting.
Note: The "ox horn" upgrade is the small black piece attatched to the wood siyahs. The entire siyah is not ox horn.

I own a lot of stick bows; this bow is light, accuracte, and has a good crisp release! Easily worth double what they charge, it's become my favorite bow.

So far I've shot around 600-700 arrows with this bow and it's still holding strong, no warping on the limbs, no cracks or split leather, or other physical damage (other than a few scrapes on the laminate siyahs from shipping) it looks and shoots like I just got it yesterday. The bow is very sturdy, has little hand shock, and overall feels very nice to shoot. I'd recommend feathered arrows over plastic fletching unless you own (or plan to own) a hand guard/thumb guard or wear some tear resistant gloves as the plastic fletching of most modern arrows will scrape your hand when you fire an arrow and can possibly cut you. You can also install an arrow rest on the bow if you don't mind gluing or clipping something on the bow to keep the arrow from resting directly on your hand while firing.

The string it came with is alright, I've been quite rough on it and it's survived so far. The zebra pattern of the string is also pretty cool.

When it comes to good traditional laminate bows on Amazon, Aliarchery/Alibow/Longbowmaker are some the best manufacturers and are the best manufacturers in the $100 price range as far as I know.

Ray skin arrow pass was unexpected but nice to see.
Initial set up was hassle free and instructions while brief were clear.
Bow is easy to string. Very forgiving for Mediterranean or thumb draw. No stacking at my draw length.

Only wants would be an extra string.

I added a serving string nock and some faux fur silencers other than that no mods were needed. Arrows used are 500 spine carbon cut around 30in with 1-125gr field points and 4in turkey fletching. For what I'm doing to learn a new release they work fine. For longer range I will have to go though a full set up, but for now they are fine.
I needed a lighter stick to learn thumb draw so I dropped down to #30. I recommend dropping at least half your true draw weight of if coming over from compounds or even modern center shot Longbow or recurves.
If I get the hang of this i will order another in a heavier draw.
