Very handy!

I got this for someone dealing with dizziness and nausea related to position changes, inner ear issues. So helpful not having to lean over to put shoes on or getting hangers off a high closet rod. Well made and very useful.

I got this for my husband because he wears bib overalls and has been having a difficult time trying to get the straps over his shoulder to get them hooked on the front. I'm happy to say with a little bit of practice, it has helped him with putting on his overalls. He's a 6'3" big guy and the fact that it has a shoe tongue on the other end, has also helped him put his shoes on. As new seniors, we don't like to admit that we need help with things that we have always been able to do for ourselves, but it's time to set aside our pride and use tools like this that will help make life a little easier for us. 😉 The "stick" is a firm plastic and I don't see it breaking or bending with repeated use. So overall, I have to recommend this dressing stick because it has helped my husband on many occasions so far, especially if you have a big and tall guy like mine, it's long enough for him to use comfortably. 😉

very easy to use and was very effective in easily getting shoes on with bending over and struggling to straighten the heel cup up so the person's heel slips in easily.
Sturdy construction, just the right length

Although this long dressing stick is all plastic, it is solid and sturdy. The pieces screw together with many threads, so I can't see it breaking at those points. The shoehorn on a stick is not new to me, but the double hook on the other end is a game changer! I have been using it as designed to remove shoes and socks, but I can also use the hook to lift the shoe's tongue so I can get my foot in the shoe without scrunching the tongue into the shoe. The hooked end also allows the dressing stick to hang on the back of a dressing chair, so it is always where it needs to be. I didn't realize there was something so simple as this dressing stick that can make my morning routine just a bit easier.
