Solidly built and will certainly keep hands and wrists safe. I was very surprised how flexible they are given the amount of padding. Great fit for my 14 year old too. To me it seems like they could have a bit more venting, but we will have to wait and see how hot they are.

My son is a college lacrosse player. He can't use these gloves in games because he wears uniform gloves, but he wears them in practices (pre Covid-19) and says he loves them and wishes he could wear them in games.
He loves:
+ SUPER light & comfortable. Not bulky or constricting. "I don't notice I'm wearing them- I just move my hands and the gloves move with them."
+ The design has vents and the suede palm breathes well so his hand never feels sweaty or slippery inside.
+ The suede palm is nicely grippy and allows for a comfortable hold no matter where your hand is on the shaft.
+ Even though the gloves are soft, they are really protective from hits.
+ The cuff extends above the bony part of the wrist so that is also protected.
+ They look sleek and stylish with a cool design
