The gloves are fantastic, the measurements given are for large 7' Nordic types as my hands are nowhere near the sizes given. I just went for 2nd largest (due to weight) and they fit great. They look great as well. Totally worth the money as I have punched the snot out of my 100lb bag and, as long as I keep my form, it's like punching an cherub in the butt, or so I'd assume.

When in doubt, size up. I was debating between sizes because my weight fluctuates and the 14 oz is for 150lb+ (I can go anywhere from 145/50 or so) but the bigger size works great.
