I was able to use this motor to replace the one on my solar powered attic vent fan. The only exact fit motor I could find was about $170. Not much available out there since most modes are made overseas without parts replacements. Had to do a slight modification to the mounting bracket .
12V motor is torquey and quiet.

Not for use in dusty environments. Bearings will seize up pretty quick. Had to toss it after first use in a dry washer.
