So each candle stick comes in three pieces (the topper, the stick, and base) and you screw them altogether. I didn't love this because a couple of them screwed in crooked and it caused them to lean and not sit straight up. I was able to work with them and got one to sit upright, but the other one I couldn't get to not lean. If you can get over that, they're very cute. The base is sturdy and weighty and not cheap feeling. Overall they're very sleek and versatile.
