I've tested these down to ~20F so far and they're comfortable. I think they'll do the job down to about 10F.
The booties aren't convenient to put on/take off of your shoes, so I've converted a pair for the season. Size XXXL just fit over a men's size 48 (~US 13) Pearl Izumi Canyon Shoe. If you're not putting these on cleats that elevate the velcro strap off the ground, you'll find that the exposed velcro sticks to carpet. They could have reversed the velcro to avoid that.
Jeans can be tucked in before zipping up, and the zipper seems fairly sturdy. That said, these are lightweight so they probably won't take too much abuse.
The booties are quite waterproof, so your sweaty shoes won't dry out as normal. If you use these for commuting, have a second pair of shoes for around the office so these have a chance to dry during the day. It's also a weird look to walk around in neoprene booties.

Bought these as I plan for a 2 day bike trip this summer. After experiencing a touch of frostbite this past weekend on a early morning ride I decided to try them as thermal insulators for a ride to work. They performed wonderfully! Arrived at work with warm piggies. Have used them twice in the rain and they work great compared to the alternative of slowly feeling water creep down your sock and settle into your arch then your toes and every stroke of the pedal being a slippery and squishy mess. No one likes that

I've got a lot of miles in with these shoe covers. They are well constructed and do a pretty good job. On colder days, my feet still tend to get cold, especially in the toes. I'm not sure that's really a limitation in the product or just realistic limits of the materials. Regardless, I'm happy with my purchase.

YO. I am the coldest cyclist around. Always. Cold. I panic-bought these for East Texas Showdown because the weather would be cold and wet at the start and not really warm up much. My toes are ALWAYS cold in my fancy Specialized booties even when I double up with toe covers. These babies kept me SO COZY. I spent 23 hours riding in sub-50s and my feet actually got a bit warm at one point. I had to wade through water and my feet went completely under. They got wet (but only slightly on the inside) and I took them off to hang on the bike to dry off (and they did) but even my summer shoes were just a bit damp and ended up drying before I needed to put the booties on. JUST BUY THEM THEY ARE WORTH IT. They even stretched over my wide Lake cycling shoes. Seriously. these are great. Can't say enough.
