HEAVY! Very well packaged

This item arrived even faster than anticipated, was extremely well packaged inside and out. The box is large and very heavy ~ 90-ish lbs, so don't plan to unpack it alone unless you are very strong. It assembled quite easily ~ one thing to note ~ not all of the pre-drilled holes show upon first glance; some are covered with the finish, but you will note a small indentation where the holes are, and just poking through that thin film with the provided screw driver was all that was needed. It looks beautiful ~ we do not have room for a baby grand in our home, which would be our first choice for our adult daughter. This takes up a small footprint, looks very nice (we selected the white), and will be a surprise for her 40th b'day. She doesn't live in our home anymore, but she is here for long weekends at least each month. This will bring her a lot of joy! And one day, she may have an apartment large enough to include this piano in her own home as it will be easily transported. Until she has enough room, it will be very lovely in ours.

I've been considered a piano snob by a lot of people for refusing to have anything in my house but a real authentic piano. I reluctantly ordered this because we needed to save space so we sold our baby grand. I am reformed. This little instrument has a beautiful sound, definitely saves space, and has so many more functions that reignited the kids' interest in learning. They can plug a tablet into it with headphones and learn their lessons remotely, they can change the sound the piano outputs such as harpsichord, organ, etc. It plays beautiful full version demo songs. The petals work as they would on my baby grand. And mercifully, when headphones are plugged in, the rest of the house doesn't have to hear the 9000th rendition of Mary had a Little Lamb by my 6 year old. Love him! But it can get a little....well you know. And it doesn't look cheap. The front edge of the key cover is some sort of brushed aluminum and is not very aesthetically pleasing but it can be overlooked. If you need an instrument and you need it to be pretty yet functional and small, this is the one. I wish I would have ordered black as I think it would look better in the space but I'm equally happy with white. I felt it was a bit pricey for not being a "real" piano but I'm happy with the purchase.
