I have owned this sprayer for a year now. Its a huge improvement over my old pump sprayers and makes spraying much easier. The sprayer is well designed and easy to use. I have contacted customer support for an issue with the sprayer and even though it was out of warranty, Nathan at Petra Tools made sure to get the problem fixed. I like the sprayer but love the customer support. Its great to see a business back up their products like PetraTools does. I would no hesitate to buy something else from them.

I have absolutely no complaints about Petra tools. All of the products I own from them perform amazingly well, but I'm writing this review because sometimes things do go wrong, but Petra tools makes sure to take care of it. Recently I had a battery issue in my HD4000 and when I called customer support Tin was able to trouble shoot my issue and then quickly get me a warranty claim and have a new battery/charger sent out. I will only ever have good things to say about Petra tools and the people who work there.

We bought this electronic sprayer a couple month ago. This is the right tool you want to get and it will make spraying job so much easier! Weed killer, algae control, pest control... Whatever you need to apply with the regular pressure sprayer. Our wand got rusted and leaked, I don't want to get a similar one since not sure if the size will match this product or not. So, I contacted with PetraTools and Tin helped me located my Amazon order, send me a free replacement wand since our order is still under warranty. Tin also followed up and make sure we got the replacement and everything works. Highly recommend this product, especially for its customer service, thank you Tin!

I purchased the model 4050 which is an upgrade to the model 4000. This unit was packed very smartly with loose parts safely placed in a ziplock style bag. The battery is a Lithium Ion chemistry and is approximately the same size as APC batteries in computer Back-UPS. The difference, it is very lightweight. The battery required a charge which took about 6 hours.

The sprayer came with several nozzles including one that looked like a mini showerhead. All worked well and allowed for many different spraying options. The best part of this unit is that it is very comfortable, even with 4 gallons of water. Is far more comfortable than the RoundUp sprayer that it replaced. In fact, it is more comfortable than my Stihl 600 backpack blower. As with any backpack device, I would recommend using a table to support the unit while strapping it on. Controls can be reached on the left with your left hand. Unfortunately, you cannot see the battery level while wearing the unit.

Other great features worth mentioning: the pickup filter is recessed in a sump well allowing for sputter-free spraying to the last drop; There is a drain on the side that allows complete emptying of the tank; the base is flat and the hose does not interfere with the unit during storage; and the charger has a nice metal plug that screws on securely to the unit during charging.

Overall, this is a great sprayer that can compete with many commercial units. One criticism, the only handle is on the screw cap. I would not trust lifting 4 gallons with this handle. Not that I don't trust its strength, I don't trust that I have properly tightened the top. (from experience)

Best sprayer I've ever used. Customer support is amazing. Nina was very helpful and made me feel like she actually understood my problems. She acted quickly to resolve the issue and was gracious and thankful for my input. Amazing company!!!!
