I was skeptical leaving this on 24/7 and to trust that this product would know when to sense that the bowl was filled to to the top because I was afraid it would overflow. So I set this up and would turn it on and off each time I wanted it to fill up the bowl. But then I decided to trust it. And it worked. It worked! This is an amazing product. The box it comes in is beautiful. You can put a bow on it to blend in but I leave it without a bow so I can see the sensor light when the water is low.

Velcroing the sensor and the tube was a little challenging but I got the Hang of it on my own. And it works beautifully. I think this is expensive. $100 is a lot for this. Maybe $50 but not $100. Nonetheless great product. I highly recommend.

I was alittle concerned at the price but I purchased this for a our tree which is in our vacation house. I had purchased tree watering systems in the past, all of which ended poorly. This product work perfectly. With alittle adjusting of the green Velcro strap to hold the tubes in the base, it worked great. Our tree after a month looked as good as the day we put it up. New growth on the tips of the tree usually droop after three week, that did not happen this year. The water system kept fresh water in the base all the time.

Christmas 2020:
The product is still working well. I decided to get a second HoHo. I get 8ft trees and they suck up a lot of water. Having two units lets me fill up both water tanks when the tree goes up and then forget about them until the tree comes down. With out two I had to either turn on the audible alarm or check the tank empty light on a daily basis. The two tanks allows me to ignore the tree until it is time to take it down. The tree this year was still supple with very little needle loss on the way out of the house. Still a 5 star rating.

Christmas 2019:
Great design. Eliminates Siphoning problem of other products. Attractive art work.
This product is super easy to set up. The design is well thought out. The biggest plus for me was that it has a feature that prevents water from siphoning out of the tank and on to the floor. Other aspects that I found particularly well done.:
1. The artwork is very attractive
2. The reindeer nose that lights up when the tank is out of water is a very creative feature
3. The connecting tubing is the right length to allow the water tank to be placed in a position that is convenient to fill the tank
4. The fill hole is nice and large to make refilling easy
5. The pump is very quiet
6. The exterior container is large enough to store the container and protect it from damabe in between seasons

We ordered this product because our 9' cut tree from Oregon was drinking over 1.5 pitchers of water everyday. Getting down under the tree twice a day to add water by hand was very inconvenient, and had been in previous years as well. When I saw this on Amazon, I ordered it immediately. When we finally received it (more on that below), it's a quick 5 minute or less setup, and then no more hand-watering the tree! You simply fill it with 2.5 gallons of water, plug it in, put the decorated gift box under the tree, run the water tube and water-level sensor to the tree stand reservoir, use the provided long velcro strap to wrap it around the trunk (any size) to keep the sensor and water tube in place at the right level, turn on the switch, and you're done! No need anymore to get down on hands-and-knees to water the tree twice a day, and with 2.5 gallon capacity, it gives you the freedom to leave home for a week or more without worry that the tree will run out of water and dry up. We were planning to leave for a week, and had already talked to our neighbor about hiring her to come in twice a day to water at $10/day so it paid off for us in a week. If the water runs low in the tank, a visual/audio alarm goes off so you know that you need to refill it, and the pump shuts down automatically to prevent damage to the pump from running dry. I'll never have another live Christmas tree in future years without using this. It's really a very simple but ingenious product to solve this long-standing problem.

The product did not arrive when advertised, so I waited more than an additional week, and was getting frustrated because we could have gotten it delivered from Costco by then, but the promised date on Amazon was much quicker. That's why we had planned to hire our neighbor. I finally contacted HoHoHoH20 on a Friday and talked with Daniel. He apologized profusely and said the package had been lost by UPS, and said that he would send another one immediately FedEx next-day air. Above-and-beyond support in my opinion. Turns out that the original package had been shipped by USPS, not UPS, and funny enough it finally did arrive on Sunday. Being shipped USPS, that explains the extraordinary delay and lack of credibility/trackability, particularly this year. Then the next day (Monday), the 2nd unit that was shipped FedEx overnight arrived (since the weekend didn't count as business days) as promised. I offered to return the second unit, but Daniel said it was a gift for the inconvenience. Who does this?

I have to tell you, the owner of the HoHoHoH2o Company is amazing; we purchased the HoHoHoH2o Automatic Christmas Tree Watering System Device, the Silver/Festive Box in December of 2020. We love the automatic watering system- this year we were able go away for 3 days without fear of the tree drying out and dyeing the 2.5-gallon reservoir had plenty of water left when we returned!
It was easy to set up, simply attach the water tube + sensor to the trunk of the tree, fill the tank, plug it in and turn it on!
My BAD, I notice yesterday when taking the Christmas Tree down, when I set it up this year, I spilled water in the decorative box and ruined the box.
Today I called what I thought was the company's customer service number and it turns out to be the owners cell phone number.
I asked him if I could buy a new outer box; I was shocked when he told me he would send me a new complete unit no charge!
Now that is what I call customers service!
