Bought this get a solid set of flies as I was starting out. This product definitely checks that box. As I've become more educated the drys, attractors, and streamers are all still applicable to CO fishing. I will definitely buy more of those. That said, the nymphs you get in this kit are way too big for CO. CO you want hook sizes in the 18 to 22 range for nymphs and midges. Not the 12, 14, and 16s offered. Lastly, I did have a few duds in the box. One clamped hook eye and a few nympths where the bead separated from the rest of the material. However, I can live with that give the cost per fly this box offers.

This review is just until I get an update/message from the seller. I got my order today, but it only included the first box of the two box set. Not much of a value of you only get half the flies you were expecting. I'll update this review after I've been contacted.

*UPDATE*--I contacted Amazon and Ventures after only getting half the order--as Ventures doesn't do the shipping themselves, it definitely wasn't their fault, and Amazon quickly sent out a complete order after I talked to their Skynet AI chatbot. I'm very happy with the quality and assortment of flies--it's approximately half dry and half nymphs, with a little bit of streamers and terrestrials thrown in. I'm a beginner fly fisherman, and it certainly gives you a lot of usable flies fast. A great, cheaper way to bolster your collection, and they're made in the USA! Also, the personal attention and concern from Ventures was much appreciated.
I'm trying to get my dad and brother into it, so I'll definitely be buying more sets of these in the future! For the price, quality, and service, these can't be beat.

Originaly I had an issue but I'll say this the customer support is A1 they did everything in there power to correct the problem. Plus they went the extra mile and sent me a few extras. I'll for sure buy from them again. And I would recomend them to anyone I know.
Had chance to get out and do a little fishing with the Flys two nice trout.

The product looks nice it came packaged nicely but the ID cards that came with each box of fly's was the same card. It packages came with a nice thank you letter from Andrew saying that if you had any concerns to email him and he would respond to you quickly. I did that and I haven't heard from him and that's been weeks ago. I'd return it but I took it for granted that this would be resolved, and I didn't keep the packaging. My loss but be assured this another poor example of be prepared for what you get.

Flies were better quality that I had expected, but still had that aura of mass production about them. Some are more durable than others, and some have better form than others. One of my wooly buggers wasn't dubbed quite enough, and came looking a little less than wooly. My hopper legs were also a little funny, but all-in-all probably the best bulk flies you can get fr the price.
