I bought these to use in a tree stand 15 ft off the ground. Instead of messing with straps every time I simply clip on and I'm good. Opening is easy 1 handed and I have not had an issue with the gate securing.

I carry my keys on my belt (belt loop) with some type of Carabiner. The last one I used started to let go of my keys when it got into the "perfect" position while I was seated. Hence, my keys would come off of my belt at the least opportune time. My car fob costs $400 to replace, so losing it would get expensive quick.

You get 2 carabiners that are both extremely sturdy. They have a turn-locking feature which is a great safety measure to have. You'll always know they are locked in. I can't quantify a weight it can support but it's quite strong. I have a backpack filled with camping gear filled to maybe to 45lbs and 1 carabiner can easily support the weight. I don't deal with cheap/small carabiners since, after a year of strain, they brake. With these new ones, I don't have to worry about them fall apart on me or warping. I'm happy with my purchase.
