Great product, I just installed 8 of them without issue. Use a 1/16" drill bit to drill small holes into the back of the old broken clips(two on each side of the flat part) for easy removal with a pair of pliers, be careful not to drill through the front of the vertical bar, you can feel when you drill through the broken clip. If the existing holes in the vertical bar are undersized as mine were, Use 7/32" drill bit to enlarge your existing clip holes for the appropriate clearance of these new aftermarket clips.
Works well

It's exactly what I need for, although a bit pricey for what it is. It's a bit difficult for me to remove the old pin from the tilt bar. I used priers, wire stripper, garden scissors, and electric drill. Also, pushing the new pin into the tilt bar is not easy. Maybe I need to some better tool.
Part worked as expected.

Allowed me to re-attach the vertical joining bar for my (vinyl) horizontal shutters in bathroom

These clips needed a larger hole in the vertical joining bar than did the original clips. Please see closeup of new clip (left) and old, broken clip (right) on an inch ruler. It took me a few tries with my drill press to open the holes up to the necessary diameter (~0.182") in order to press-in the expanding prongs on the new clips. It took me a total of about an hour to repair the 9-holes-each on two vertical bars.
This does NOT count the time I spent drilling and removing the original, broken clips . . .
