I do not write reviews, in fact this is my first but the product deserved a review. I've had this four years now and I travel approximately 150 to 200 nights a year for work. I regularly overstuff it, throw it in a truck with toolboxes. It has traveled weekends on the motorcycle and has held up fantastic. I just now purchased my second one only after a zipper failed probably due to over stuffing. Great bag, very durable and looks good too.

After yet another gym bag started to fall apart in less than a year when used as a travel bag, I decided it was time to find something more durable. After researching several duffel bags, I settled on this one because it fit everything I was looking for:
* More durable than a gym bag
* Had a distinctive look
* Had a large opening on one side for my hanging toiletries bag
* Had a separate compartment for shoes
* Could easily function as a carryon on any airline
What set it apart was the material and the inside organizational compartments. Too often I'm hunting through my duffle bag for certain electronics, chargers, and other things that I want easily accessible but that I don't want as easily available on the outside by opportunistic thieves. This bag, on the inside, has pouches on one side, and three pockets in the other (two zip panel). So I get the convenience of backpack organization inside of a duffel bag. It still has pockets on the outside for those quick access, less valuable items (I store a small umbrella)

With the disappointment I've gotten over products bought on Amazon this pat year, I was was pleasantly impressed by this duffle bag. It appears to be strong canvas with sturdy zippers. As to the "waterproof" ability, that remains to be seen. The only gripes I have are that the bottom is lacking the sturdiness that I would like and the shoulder strap doesn't have sufficient (if any) padding. The bottom is however more sturdier than most and will generally maintain a flat shape for what I use it for. I will hopefully update to 5 stars in the quality and durability category after I've used it a few more times. As of now, it m still impressed and would likely not have a problem buying another one.

It's a much nicer bag than I expected and very durable while still stylish. This is my second and I'm going to get a third for my son. My first bag is in perfect shape still but I'm going to use it for something else besides traveling.

This very good-looking duffel is the maximum size for a carry-on bag. I've taken it on several airlines now without issues of fitting in the overhead bins. It looks much more expensive than it is and the metal and leather hardware looks as if it would outlast even the heavy-duty canvas.
The ventilated shoe pocket holds 2 pairs of shoes comfortably. The 2 zipper-top easy-access end pockets are perfect for toiletries, plus multiple interior pockets for smaller things and an outer flap for your boarding pass, cell phone, etc. I can tuck a folded coat under the snap together handles and the padded, adjustable shoulder strap means the bag is easy to carry through airports & on transit.
Although this bag has a somewhat rugged appearance, it does not look out of place when traveling for business.
