This is a quality product. Well made, very easy to assemble and looks to last a long time. Locks in the up or down position. Doesn't rattle thanks to the hitch tightener; two ratchets and packing net are included. The carrier comes with assemble tools that work but do yourself a favor and use your own. Extremely good value for the price.

This was a huge help for our family trips this summer! We took it on 4000 miles on several trips with all our family cargo. Bought a lock for the bag to keep it a bit more secure when we made stops to the store and such.

This was great. I was a little hesitant to purchase this from reading the low ratings regarding rust, pieces missing, bent, but I decided to take a chance. It came a day early, all pieces were there in good/perfect condition, easy to put together, it rained multiple times on our trip, no rust, bag up held the rain. No complaints. It was great!

I use this to haul brush to the transfer station. It can hold a surprising amount! I load it up, cover with a tarp making sure the reflectors and my brake lights are visible, and then use the mesh bungee to hold it in. I will say assembly was not easy. Even with my husband's help we had to use a mallet and otherwise finagle things to get it to fit together. You will need real tools as the ones supplied are a joke! It's never quite level but I'm only going 2 minutes away so I don't worry about that too much. It also is just a little too heavy/awkward for me to put it on the car myself so I always need help. I think if I had picked one just a few pounds lighter I would have been able to manage so consider that if you might also struggle and don't have an extra set of hands. Some parts showed rust out of the box so I did spray with clear Rustoleum and store out of the elements.
