It really gets about a 4.5/5, but that wasn't an option. A detachable belt/pocket clip, or a similar, fabric carrying case would have earned it a 5/5.

The batteries (3 x AAA) are stored in a removable carrier that fits in the case. Unscrew the back cap to remove it.

Pros:
- It's small (see cons). Fits easily in almost any pocket.
- Easy to use. Rotate the top cap to expand or narrow the beam. Push the button on the back end to turn it on or off. Push the button lightly to cycle between modes.
- Three modes: Bright, Not-as-Bright, and Epileptic Fit (strobe).
- Has a lanyard attached to help keep you from dropping it (see cons).

Cons:
- It's small (see pros). If you have big hands, it feels a bit awkward.
- Don't drop it in the dark if its turned off unless you are using the lanyard. It's small and black. You'll never find it.

I was skeptical of how bright a flashlight this small could be, but I was pleasantly surprised! A single one will light up a whole room pretty well on the high setting, and the low setting is still pretty bright as well. The ability to manually focus is nice (though I will note that twisting it is a bit slow).

The bodies also feel pretty durable; I would imagine that they'll hold up well to use and even dropping.
They are a bit heavy, so I don't think I'll carry one in my purse, but they'll definitely get their use around the house and maybe one will go in my car.

The only mildly irritating thing other than the manual focusing is the setting control"”you push the button and it turns on high, push it again it turns off. Push it again it turns on low, push it again it turns off. Push it again it turns on flashing, push it again it turns off. If you wait about five seconds between turning it off it will "reset" and the next press will turn high again on rather than low or strobe.

I can't review the water resistance or battery life yet as I have not yet gotten it wet (will probably try to avoid as much as possible, but it is nice that it *should* work if it gets splashed while camping or whatever) and haven't had it for long enough for the batteries to run out.

These flashlights are great. They have three light modes to choose from. Super bright, bright, and flashing mode. I don't like the flashing mode, but would probably not use that anyway. These little flashlights are really bright. They measure 4.25 inches long, so they are easy to keep in a cupboard or car console. They also come with a handy wrist strap. The brightness of these flashlights remind me of another heavy duty flashlight we have, but this is much lighter and easier to handle. My kids love playing with this flashlight and can easily push the button on and off. I would recommend this flashlight. I received this flashlight in exchange for my review.

I like the Eveready tactical flashlight set. They are small, lightweight, and they put out a lot of light. These flashlights each light up a room the way the large, traditional flashlights can. I carry one in my purse, and keep one in my nightstand for those middle of the night power outages. I find them handy for walking my dog after dark, locating items in dark closets, going into the unlit corners of my basement, during power outages, etc. The Eveready tactical flashlights are durable, so no need to worry about handling them with too much care. They don't take up a lot of room, so even those with limited space will appreciate having this set of flashlights. The small size makes it easy to carry one, or both, in a purse for safety reasons. Keep in mind that these flashlights do not come ready to use. They each require 3 AAA batteries, which are not included with the flashlights. I had a pack of batteries on hand, so this was not an issue for me. I highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. The Energi LED Eveready flashlight is in my opinion a great durable flashlight. I was very impressed how great the light is for a small flashlight. It has 3 modes of light-high steady, low and strobe light. It gives a bright white light output that lights up a whole room. (Great for power outages)You can also manually focus this light to zoom in or out for whatever you need. Great for camping! Plenty of light to see where you're going. It has approximately 8 hours of battery life on low setting. The handy wrist strap makes it easy to carry. Small and compact to fit in your purse or back pocket. The two pack deal makes it great to keep one in the car and one in the house or share with a friend. I definitely recommend these!
