The non-inclusion of any form of direction of what pieces go where and in what orientation is the biggest fault of these connectors. Luckily review pic's here gave me just enough of an idea of what goes where, to work out the rest. I Always solder wires to the connectors and don't rely on a mechanical connection to hold the wires in place. The rest worked out fine. With a little patience and done properly, very good connections can be made that work flawlessly. If you will be connecting and re-connecting these frequently, they may not be the connectors for your particular needs. In that situation you might want to buy the more expensive Molex ones and if you need waterproof use more expensive ones that are OEM style.

Some reviewers left some pretty bad feedback for this item (2-pin weatherproof connector) if you think it is weak, breaks easily, hard to assemble, won't lock or makes a bad connection, it just shows that you did not assemble it correctly. These connectors are built of really good and strong parts that seal against water perfectly. I assembled 15 of them without a problem. Good product that I will buy again.

I needed to wire up some ditch lights on my rig. Wanted a better connection than just twisting the wires and some tape. This did the job. Make sure you have the right tool to crimp them properly. There's plenty in the box to practice with.
